Zydus Cadila bags tentative approval from USFDA for two anti-hypertensive drugs

The tentative approval is for Amlodipine Besylate and Benazepril Hydrochloride capsules.

 

Ahmedabad, March 30, 2013: The Indian drug firm Zydus Cadila has received a tentative approval from the US drug authorities for the two anti-hypertensive drugs - Amlodipine Besylate and Benazepril Hydrochloride capsules.

 

As per the statement released by the company the sales of Amlodipine Besylate and Benazepril Hydrochloride capsules in 2012 was US$ 384.8 million. The company also mentioned that it has 78 approvals and has so far filed 173 ANDAs since the commencement of the filing process in FY 2003-04.
