New Delhi, July 8, 2014: Cipla plans to invest up to 100 million pounds in UK over the next few years for launch and development of new drugs as part of its global footprint expansion plans. The company plans to provide high quality affordable medicines to British National Health Service (NHS).
The investment will fund the launch of a range of drugs in the areas of respiratory, oncology and antiretroviral segments. The activities would include R&D, clinical trials and further expansion in the UK.
The company has a total portfolio of over 2,000 products in 65 therapeutic categories.
