Japanese pharma firms keen to tie up with Indian companies
The Indian and Japanese pharma companies can explore synergies in areas like trade and technology development.
New Delhi, February 13, 2013: A delegation of pharmaceutical companies from Japan’s Toyama prefecture today said that the Japanese companies can collaborate with domestic drug firms in the areas of trade and technology development.
The leader of the Japanese pharmaceutical delegation Yasuhiko Shioi said that pharmaceutical companies from Japan are keen to collaborate with Indian pharma companies and the companies from the countries could undertake joint market research and product development for world market apart from engaging in jointly developing new technologies.
Toyama, which is recognised as the cluster city of pharmaceutical industry in Japan, has around 100 companies.
