Lupin launches generic GERD drug in US
The drug is the generic version of Eisai Inc's Aciphex delayed-release tablets.
New Delhi, November 11, 2013: The Indian drug firm Lupin today announced that the company has launched a generic version of Japan-headquartered Eisai Inc's Aciphex delayed-release tablets in the US market. It may be noted here that the drug is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease.
According to the statement by the company, its US-based subsidiary Lupin Pharmaceuticals Inc has launched its generic Rabeprazole Sodium delayed-release tablets, 20 mg after receiving the approval from USFDA.
