New Delhi, March 15, 2013: The value of India’s pharma products exported to the oil-rich Nigeria stood at US$ 307 million at the end of 2011-12 registering an increase of 35-37 per cent, according to Indian High Commissioner to the African state, Mr Mahesh Sachdev.
He also took part in the two-day Indian Pharma Exhibition and Buyer-Seller Meet organised by Pharmexcil and Indian High Commission in Nigeria. The participation of over 70 companies in the event was a result of the strong partnerships between the two regions.
As compared to the 700 pharma buyers that attended the previous expo in Nigeria in March 2011, this year over 1000 buyers attended the event.
